OZ SAYS, “GAN SEE FOOKIN’ LER CERLCHA MAN, THA PROPA CLASS, UP THE FOOKIN’ PONX MAN”
It’s not often that I write my (proper) feelings on the internet but I think the past month or so warrants this. I’ll keep it short. As most people who come to our gigs will already know (sorry. I know I go on a bit sometimes!) I have been working nightshift for the last 5 weeks which came about after I had booked all of the gigs from February until April. This meant that I couldn’t stick around for the It’s Not OK! and Break-Ups gigs and it made it hard to find somewhere for the bands to stay because my girlfriend didn’t fancy a group of drunk strangers turning up at our house at 12:30a.m without me being there! That on top of bands cancelling at the last minute as well as not being able to run the gig on the night. So really this is just a testament and a massive thank you to everybody who has helped out in one way or another. Callum, Hub, Sid, Graham and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaind, Rob and Prolefeed, Lesta and Pure Graft, Helen, Julia, Jam and anybody who stood on the door whilst I couldn’t be there. This, in my opinion, is what DIY is all about. People helping each other. I couldn’t do it without you. So, just, thanks really!
